Aaron Douglas (actor)


Aaron Douglas is a Canadian actor. He is best known for his role as Galen Tyrol on the Sci Fi Channels television program Battlestar Galactica.

Aaron Douglas was born in New Westminster, a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia. His father, Michael Douglas, is a professor and his mother, Arlene Elliot, is a psychologist. He has a brother Chris, who is four years his junior. The family lived in Vancouver until Aaron was 10, at which time they moved to a town in the interior of the province of British Columbia, Creston, where he attended Prince Charles Secondary School as a teenager and acted in school productions, played in a rock band and participated in community theater. At age 26, he quit his job and moved back to Vancouver to pursue a career in acting. He studied at Canadas famed William Davis Centre for Actors Study at VanArts.
